"You will never have kids," words no couple wants to ever hear. That's also exactly what the doctor told my wife as she recovered consciousness. A stream of tears went down her cheeks. We had both eagerly wanted children of our own from the day we got married. She was heartbroken and I could figure out a sense of sadness and deep depression in her eyes. We both sat just sat there speechlessly.

My wife and I both wanted to make a family, and wanted to have two kids - whether that be both girls or both boys, or one girl and one boy. I could see her dreams draining in her tears. It looked as if everything we had ever planned for and wanted was ruined. After three days she was discharged from the hospital. We were told to visit the doctor every fourth day.
My wife had been diagnosed with endometrial cancer. After a series of laboratory tests, a Endometrial Biopsy specialist recommended a hysterectomy. A hysterectomy is a medical procedure in which the uterus is removed surgically from the body of a woman. The procedure may be adopted due to several health issues; endometrial cancer, HIV, and various other complications.
On our third follow-up visit to the doctor, I had an inclination to ask the doctor, Mr. Mark, for the other options available in order to still have kids with my wife, Leena. After taking another look at the reports, he told me that surrogacy was a viable option. A sudden wave of emotions amalgamated inside me, and I was filled with both a sense of curiosity and happiness. His words provided confidence that I could still be a father, something I had long desired. I had so many questions I wanted to ask the doctor.
